You will find the Alagadi Beach on the way to Esentepe village departing from Kyrenia. The signs on the side of the right will lead you to the sandy beach. There are 2 different bays next to each other on Alagadi Beach. There is a restaurant which is named ‘Turtel paradise’ and also you can find second-handed books which are also sold. There are no sunbeds or umbrellas so do not forget to take your own beach mats.

The sea turtles lay their eggs on Alagadi beach on summer and the area is protected. You will see the volunteer organization SPOT in red t-shirts which organize turtle nest excavations by reservations.

A beautiful beach with shallow crystal water, golden sandy beach which the coastline goes for kilometers. Facilities include sunbeds, umbrellas, shower, and pedal boats for a reasonable rent.

The restaurant is just by the beach where you can find different varieties of food, such as fast food, kebabs or fish.

If you drive towards the Kaya Artemis Hotel in Bafra you will see the sign of ‘Bafra Halk Plajı’ just before you turn to the hotel. The coastline is beautiful with clean golden sand and very clear blue water. There is also a restaurant where you can have snacks or cold drinks. Beach sports such as tennis tournaments and beach parties take place.

The beach is in the Alsancak area in Mare Monte Hotel which once was a beautiful hotel. Nowadays the hotel is not operating and the beach is run by ‘Lapta Municipality’. The entrance fee for an adult is less than €1 and includes an umbrella, sunbed, and the shower. It is a sandy clean bay surrounded by pine trees. If you want to have a cold refreshment that is available at the snack bar which is located on the left side of the bay.
